Vera Rodrigues has a degree in Communication and Public Relations and a master’s degree in English Language, Literature and Culture. A native of Guimarães, she divides her time between her great passions: her better half and her dog, friends, writing and the Fire Department.
She currently works as a sales assistant at a textile agency. Books are her greatest addiction. She has more than she will ever be able to read, but as perseverance is one of her qualities, she will continue buying them, because she believes she will have the opportunity to read them all.
She started writing a long time ago, but it was only in 2023 that she published her first children’s story. It was also in that year that she lost practically all of her vision due to a retinal disease, however, her lack of vision will not stop her from continuing to do what she truly loves, because if there is one thing she has learned, it is that it is not only with the eyes that one can see the world.
