Paulo J. Mendes

Born in Porto in 1965, he was a ceramic artist and painter. An urban sketcher since 2014, he draws intensely. He came into contact with comics through the fanzines Comicarte (1982), Düdü (1990) and Salão de BD do Porto. After decades away, he reappears with “O Penteador” (2020), “Elviro” (2022) and “O Atendimento Geral” (2024) by Escorpião Azul. He is currently working on his next book.
