José Pinhal Post Mortem Experience

During the 1980s, José Pinhal was an underrated master of dance music from Sendim, with a musical career marked by his life spent in Santa Cruz do Bispo, Matosinhos. With the aim of paying homage to the work of this legendary singer, an original musical project emerged on the night of the “O João Faz Anos” concerts, which celebrated the birthdays of three friends named João. With members of Favela Discos, Bruno de Seda and Suave Geração, the José Pinhal Post-Mortem Experience was born in 2016.

A dance supergroup peculiarly composed of musicians from the underground and experimental music scene in Porto. Several concerts followed, and interest in the singer and the band has increased noticeably with each passing year, reflecting the growing path that the musical group has taken in recent times.

The story of the singer and his posthumous legacy linked to the tribute band has been covered several times by the national and international press, being featured in the news and entertainment programs.
